My mother.

Sitting here by my mother’s bed in the nursing home.
We have tried to communicate with words, but it is mostly with looks, as she has a little difficulty finding the words.
So it will be mostly just me who can talk.

I have told you a little about the day.
Also trying to tell you about what my mother has meant to me over the years.

I also have a bag of sweets with me, but it didn’t appeal that much this day.

I have put on a record called The World Changes.
Soft and ringing in the background.

One of the songs is called The Castle of Imagination.
Which I played in the with pianist George Keczan and Tony Martin – vocals ex Black Sabbath https://youtu.be/l9yGLpIHepk?si=siEQ5bLAJw7Nb7cj

She really likes music and is enjoying it even today, it seems.

I know that the days are numbered until she moves on from mother earth. A continuation outside of time and space in the miracle of life on the other side.

Right now I am holding her hand and thinking about when she held mine when I was new to this world.

Now I am holding her hand when she is on her way out of here.

I am so deeply grateful that I have such a nice and loving mother.

An intelligent woman with a lot of tenderness and understanding for her surroundings.

Now her apartment is empty, as well as the basement and attic.
All the moving cleaning is done and the keys handed in.

This time in life is a bit upsetting, but I feel great gratitude and awe.
Many thanks for my luck 🍀 thank you 🙏 for my mother!
