When I played with the Spanish band Avalanch I went to Spain about once a week for about 18 months which was more or less non-stop packing and unpacking.
We also played in South America, Mexico and Cuba 🇨🇺

It was fun to play a bit with different bands and chargers.
I don’t think about it often but it has become a part of me over the years.

A little curiosity about the performances
with Avalanch.

The concerts with Avalanch were between 2 hours 20 minutes to 3 hours long.
Very complex rock music where the song structures had 100’s of different parts and tempo shifts. The songs were between 7-12 minutes long.

A challenge I must say.

My last bass solo with the band in Barcelona with the world’s finest audience. I take my hat off to the wonderful Spanish response which made the thank you almost fly. What a thank you this was I must say.
