Metal musician goes classic music / Magnus Rosén
It all started as a basement band musician with some private lessons from other rock bass players in town.
The rest came with time.
I feel neither better nor worse. But I am so grateful that I dared to challenge new ground in my music-making, went outside the framework where you can either fail or move on.
Without sheet music or music college, I don’t mean to reject this in any way but still dared to take on what was offered to me on my path in musical life, big or small.
Wooden barrels or gold barrels, yes, it has not mattered to me, but love and desire have been and still are the driving force in musical life.
The ”desire” to try to make music in possible or almost impossible situations, as I see it, is probably the greatest gift I have received in my musical life.
In the end, I’m still just an ordinary musician with no grades or schooling.
Like so many other musicians who are better or worse!
With my musicologists all around, we continue to offer music, emotions, love, dreams and hope to our fellow human beings. 👉❤️🙏
In my opinion, the most important thing is always the passion for what you do in life.
